Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which cookies Tayqun uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It applies together with our Privacy Policy and is written to meet the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, the UK PECR, and US state privacy laws including the CCPA/CPRA.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions and preferences (such as login and language) over time. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage; this policy covers those too.
2. How We Use Cookies
We group cookies into four categories. Strictly necessary cookies are always active because the platform cannot work without them (authentication, security, consent storage, language). Functional, analytics, and marketing cookies are set only after you give consent in the cookie banner - never before. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time; withdrawing is as easy as giving it.
3. Legal Basis
In the EEA/UK, strictly necessary cookies rely on the ePrivacy 'strictly necessary' exemption; all other cookies rely on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which we record as proof. In US states, you may opt out of any cookies that would constitute a 'sale' or 'sharing' of personal information; we also honor the Global Privacy Control signal automatically.
4. Third-Party Cookies
We currently set first-party cookies only. If we ever introduce third-party services that set cookies (for example analytics providers), they will be listed in the table below, blocked until you consent, and covered by data processing agreements.
5. How to Manage Cookies
Use the 'Manage cookie preferences' button below (or 'Cookie Settings' in the footer) at any time. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings - note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent login. Your choice is stored for 6 months, after which we ask again. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out automatically.

We do not currently set any functional, analytics, or marketing cookies. The consent banner still lets you record a choice for these categories so that, if they are ever introduced, your preference is respected from day one.
